The Effect Analysis of the Reduced Waiting Time by Using the Automatic Tablet Counting(ATC) machine

|
Various studies are under way by the hospitals to improve the quality of the medical services. The pharmacy has tried to reduce the waiting time by using the automatic tablet counting machine(ATC). In this study, we tried to compare the patients satisfaction with the waiting time before and after the use of the machine. The survey shows that average waiting time is 26.3 minutes per day, which is reduced by 43 percent. The best result comes out on Monday at noon, where it is reduced even by 66.7 percent. 61 percent of the patients think that they wait less than 30 minutes. This percentage is increased by 30 percent after the use of the machine. The patients expectation to the pharmacy for the reduced waiting time decreased to 40 percent from 60 percent.
